PRDG Research & Consulting Services is a market research and consultancy firm, specialising in qualitative research.

PRDG was set up by Padmini Ray in 2004. The main focus of the company is to analyse consumer insights and translate them into actionable and relevant recommendations to the client, which enables the client to develop their growth strategy. PRDG emerged as the most preferred research agency for the following reasons:

  2. Researcher involvement in recruitment
  3. Direct involvement of the founder in moderation analysis and reporting for all projects

Padmini started her career more than 20 years ago with Marg(Nielsen) in Kolkata. Thereafter she worked in various leading market research agencies like MODE(GFK), MBL RCG(TNS). Soon after she joined Nielsen in Mumbai and set up the National Qualitative Division. Last worked as the Director- Head of Qualitative Research with Nielsen in India.

Padmini has worked on a diverse range of product categories, has handled a wide range of clients, used innumerable techniques and methodologies.

She has travelled extensively in India and S.E. Asia, Bangladesh and UK, conducting training programs on qualitative research, attending workshops on consumer behaviour across the world and also handling projects in each of these countries. She has written several articles in business magazines on a variety of issues.

Padmini is a Post Graduate in Comparative literature and a Post graduate diploma holder in Mass communications.
